TOP TIP: SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO • When photographing the aurora, be mindful of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and your ISO values. Make sure not to push the ISO setting too high, as this has the potential to increase the noise in your image. Experiment with aperture, ISO and shutter speed settings to find the combination that delivers the cleanest results.
